This is just some playing in D Major. I've been on a kick in this key of late.

I'm happy about that as I don't have real good fluency in all keys. As I recall, besides C Major which is home for most pianists, my natural evolution has taken me through G, F, Bb, Eb, A, and now D. All Major and in order, the best I can remember the last 40 years or so! To elaborate, I feel I can be pretty free to live in these aforementioned listed diatonic worlds.

In the past decade or so I've felt like my improvisations naturally gravitated to C and Eb. Currently D is becoming a home base. Of the keys I've listed so far A is the one I've honed the least. Then there's the remaining keys that I don't have great fluency in. For me, that would be from easiest to most difficult - E, Ab, B, Gb, and Db. This order is a guess as I won't know what keys will be aroused by a song or composition.
